When you picture yourself in the water, what do you see?
π Are you swimming?
π Are you floating?
π Or are you sinking?
Now ask yourself something deeper: What’s holding you back from reaching the shore?
Sometimes we sink because life becomes overwhelming. Sometimes we float because we’re afraid to move forward. And sometimes we swim, even when we don’t know exactly where we’re going.
But here’s what I’ve learned:
You don’t have to know your destination to start swimming.
There was a time when I felt like I was sinking. I tried to float, hoping things would eventually fall into place.
Then one day, I decided to swim.
And by swimming, I mean I started TRYING.
π I tried making beats.
π I started writing books.
π I tried creating a game app.
π I designed a summer tote bag.
π I wrote songs.
π And I explored so many other creative ideas.
I wasn’t just thinking about doing these things anymore. I was actually putting in the effort, giving each opportunity my all, and discovering what I was capable of.
Did everything work out?
No.
Game development was one of the things I couldn’t figure out the way I wanted to. But guess what? I’m willing to try again!
Because I didn’t sink because something didn’t work out. I swam because I was brave enough to try.
Every idea taught me something. Every challenge helped me grow. Every new experience brought me a little closer to understanding my purpose.
And somewhere along the way, I found my path.
The Mompreneur Hustle. π
Now I understand that everything I was learning, creating, and experimenting with was helping prepare me for the entrepreneur I’m becoming.
I’m not running from my purpose anymore.
I’m not rushing to prove myself.
I’m ready to slow down, enjoy the scenery, take notes, learn from others, and appreciate every part of this journey.
I’m ready to become the mompreneur I’m meant to be.
No more holding back.
No more allowing fear to make my decisions.
I’m going to shine, and I’m not letting anyone or anything stop me from becoming who I’m meant to be.
And if you’re reading this while feeling like you’re sinking or just floating through life, I want you to remember something:
π You deserve to swim.
π You deserve to discover your talents.
π You deserve to try something new, even if you fail the first time.
π You deserve to reach your shore and become everything you’re capable of becoming.
Failure doesn’t mean you’re sinking. Sometimes it means you’re finally swimming toward something greater.
So let me ask you:
π Are you swimming, floating, or sinking right now? And what’s one thing you’re ready to try?
Let’s encourage each other in the comments. π
Dream It. Start It. Build It. Grow It. π
