Balancing motherhood, daily routines, and building a dream.
Spring break is over, and now we’re back to our normal routine.
The day usually starts around 8:00 AM — getting the kids up for breakfast and getting ready for class by 8:45 AM. Once they’re settled into their classes, that gives me a chance to work on my store and focus on building my dream.
Around 11:15 AM I make sure their snack is ready. From 11:15 until about 12:50 PM, we focus on homework while lunch is being made. By 1:30 PM, it’s time for afternoon classes to begin.
Throughout the week some days look a little different. Some days they have clubs, other classes, or different activities. But that’s part of the routine of being a mom.
Even with all of that, I still make time for my family and my dream.
I don’t have to put my dreams on hold to make something happen.
When things get real or it feels like too much, I adjust to the problem.
I don’t fold. I don’t give up. I don’t tap out.
Because the time you have is now.
Stop thinking “what if” or “I won’t be able to.” Those thoughts can stop you from becoming anything or doing what you dream of doing.
Enjoy being a mom. Enjoy the little things. Make memories while you grow.
And don’t stop at growing — because you’re not only raising kids, you’re also building something for your family’s future.
Whether it’s a blog, a business, or a dream you’re chasing, remember this:
You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to keep going.
To every mom trying to build something while raising a family — I see you and I hear you.
